One study shows that people taking 1 - 6 grams of cinnamon for 40 days were able to lower blood sugar up to 24%. An added bonus was that it cut cholesterol by about 18%.

So just add cinnamon to your morning drink. It also has the added benefit of increasing sweet flavors without increasing blood sugar.
